Artist Kasper Købke is famous for his live drawing. He pops up on popular Skt. Hans Torv in Nørrebro to draw one of the life szied baby elephants for Elephant Parade Copenhagen.

He will draw live in a pop-up shop on Skt. Hans Torv 3 every day till 23 December. Skt. Hans Torv is one of the most popular and busy squares in vibrant Nørrebro.
Kasper Købke expects to spend more than 1,000 hours on drawing the elephant and you may visit him:
- Monday-Friday from 12 Noon to 7 pm
- Saturday-Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.

Elephant Parade takes Copenhagen in 2011
100 life sized baby elephants will take the streets of Copenhagen in the summer of 2011 to the delight of Copenhageners and visitors alike.
The elephants will be decorated by Danish and international artists, and are to be auctioned off by Bruun Rasmussen on 8 September, 2011. The proceeds from the auction will help support endangered Asian elephants via the British aid organization Elephant Family.

At Avenue Hotel we plan to have an elephant stading in Åboulevard, right outside our main entrance. The elephant will hopefully delight the thousands of commuters, who will pass it every day, and make people think about the difficult situation of the elephants.     We are working on the placements of all the elephants and producing the city map is still underway. It wont be ready before mid April. In general the elephants will be placed in central Copenhagen, but we also have few elephants placed on the outskirts of the city.
