A Decade of Danish Fashion at Danish Design Centre
To celebrate the ten year anniversary of fashion magazine, DANSK, Danish Design Centre has organised the exhibition “10 Years of DANSK – A Decade of Danish Fashion”, cherry-picking highlights from Danish fashion of the past decade.
Creative entrepreneurs, Kim Grenaa and Uffe Buchard, founded the international fashion magazine, DANSK, ten years ago.
To celebrate the anniversary Danish Design Centre has organised the exhibition “10 Years of DANSK – A Decade of Danish Fashion”, cherry-picking highlights from the Danish fashion history of the past decade.
The Special DNA of Danish Fashion
“We hope the exhibition will further the understanding of the recent Danish fashion history in the general public, and that it will give a clear impression of the special DNA which characterises Danish fashion at the moment,” say Kim Grenaa and Uffe Buchard, founders and editors of DANSK Magazine.
DANSK Magazine helps create a platform for Danish fashion internationally as the bi-annual publication is distributed on six continents.
Highlights from the Last Decade of Danish Fashion
In the last decade Danish fashion has experienced tremendous growth and success. The exhibition, “10 Years of DANSK – A Decade of Danish Fashion”, cherry-picks highlights ranging from the emergence of great new brands over the international rise to fame by select Danish models to Kim Grenaa and Uffe Buchard’s more recent brainchild, DANSK Fashion Awards.
