The respected Danish daily, Politiken, claims that Åboulevard is turning into the new “trendy street” in Copenhagen due to numerous cutting-edge eateries and bars either just having opened or being about to open.
The paper bases its claim on shops like our new – almost - neighbour Strangas Cakeaway, the takeaway food favourite, MadSynergi, and the new bar about to be opened by the owner of hot-spot Gilt in nearby Rantzausgade (the bar has not been – officially – named yet).

Read the article in Politiken (sorry, in Danish only), check out Strangas Cakeaway and MadSynergi.
Or simply book a room at Avenue Hotel to experience Copenhagen’s new “trendy street” for yourself.
