The new Danish movie DIRCH is a universal tale of man’s search for the meaning of life. The movie salutes comedy, laughter, hope and the great comedians Dirch Passer (Nicolai Lie Kaas) and his soulmate Kjeld Petersen (Lars Ranthe).

The two comedians enjoyed an endless supply of liqueur, star-struck women and hard work but in the shadows lurked the demons: stage fright, drinking problems, jealousy and aspiring ambitions about being accepted as serious actors…

The movie will be introduced by the popular Danish singer, Daimi, who starred alongside Dirch Passer in several hit-comedies.
