The new Danish movie DIRCH is a universal tale of man’s search for the meaning of life. The movie salutes comedy, laughter, hope and the great comedians Dirch Passer (Nicolai Lie Kaas) and his soulmate Kjeld Petersen (Lars Ranthe).

Dirch Passer and Kjeld Petersen were the undisputed kings of the Danish entertainment world in the late fifties. The two comedians enjoyed an endless supply of liqueur, star-struck women and hard work but in the shadows lurked the demons: stage fright, drinking problems, jealousy and aspiring ambitions about being accepted as serious actors…

The movie will be introduced by the popular Danish singer, Daimi, who starred alongside Dirch Passer in several hit-comedies.

The deadline for entering is Friday 19 August at 12 Noon. The winner will be informed directly and can pick up the tickets at the reception at Avenue Hotel.
