Feels like a Stylish Upscale Home
“Avenue Hotel’s smart decor, relaxed vibe, and indulgent staff make it feel like a stylish upscale home,” writes the travel editor at OUT Magazine.
Adding: “Unique touches like the Avenue Shop (selling groovy design items 24 hours a day) and the Yellow Lounge (a Berlin-born concept of bringing classical music into new environments) give it that extra punch.”

Award-winning Designer shares his Insider-knowledge
David Andersen, a true Copenhagener and award-winning fashion designer, with a label in his own name, shares his insider-knowledge of Copenhagen with OUT and OutTraveler’s readers.
“I choose to live to live right in the heart of the city, on the famous ‘Strøget’ pedestrian shopping street. It can be noisy. It may be a hassle. But the energy can’t be beat,” says David Andersen.
When the savvy designer wanders off to be moved, he prefers the creative energy of the Latin Quarter, the ‘free town’ Christiania or packing a picnic basket and traveling up north to the world-renowned Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
